This presentation, Intern(ed): between invisible and made visible, past and present, (un)mediated and performed, explored two forms of invisibility and erasure that are part of architecture’s ontology—the fleeting actions of labor that bring architecture into being and architecture’s capacity to render certain populations out-of-sight—and what happens when these two forms of invisibility become entangled.
